Courier & Logistics
When developing the new Crafter, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles worked alongside over 900 customers, spending time with them during their working day to understand exactly what they needed. The result of this collaboration is a van that can meet the demands of transporting goods to your customers, at all times of the day and night.
The new Crafter is a reliable, efficient, capacious van that can handle long runs and stop-start urban journeys. And the flexibility of the load compartment, with a range of different dimensions and an array of storage solutions, helps makes it an accessible and easy-to-load van that will fit your fleet’s needs.

I'm in a different industry

More about the New Crafter
We understand that the costs of running a van are important to you, so we’ve focused on ensuring that the new Crafter will save you money.
The new EU6 2.0 TDI engines make the new Crafter 3% more efficient than the previous model and, reducing time off the road, service intervals have increased to 30,000 miles. These contribute to a class-leading total cost of ownership (TCO) that is projected to be 5.9% better than a comparable Ford Transit and 12.7% better than an equivalent Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 311.*
We also know that safety is important, so the new Crafter’s electromechanical steering – a first for the class – is the basis of the most comprehensive suite of advanced driver systems on any van, including Side Protect, Rear Traffic Alert, Front Assist with City Emergency Braking, Side Wind Assist and Trailer Assist.
And with FWD, RWD and 4MOTION – as well as specialist conversions to meet customers’ specifications – the new Crafter is one of the most flexible vans on the market, offering solutions to every business.
